<p>Whenever there is a decent earthquake I jump on Google to find a site which shows information on the latest event.</p>

<p><a href="http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/last_event/world_new_zealand.html" rel="nofollow" >United States Geological Society (USGS)</a>: Provides information about the latest larger earthquakes in New Zealand.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.geonet.org.nz/earthquake/quakes/recent_quakes.html" rel="nofollow">GeoNet</a>: Provides almost up to the minute information on the latest quakes in New Zealand, Geonet is a collaboration between the Earthquake Commission and GNS Science.</p>
